5PM Sunday Gathering Update

We're Pausing Our 5PM Sunday Gathering

Construction on our Hope Center and office building renovations begins in October. We’re so excited to see these buildings made new so they can serve as a home for our church and a hub of renewal for our city for generations to come—and to see what the Lord does, even through the rebuilding process!

But there will be some temporary changes to our church rhythms to accommodate this renewal during the estimated year that it will take.

We will be pausing our 5PM Sunday gathering during the renovation until we can resume in the new chapel. The last 5PM gathering for 2026 will take place Sunday, August 23.

We will also be temporarily relocating our church offices to the campus of our long-time partners, First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood (“Hollywood Pres”) and relocating our weekday Serve LA community meals to First Southern Baptist Church of Hollywood (more details coming soon).

We acknowledge these disruptions will cause some discomfort on all our parts, but believe such growing pains will be beyond worth it to deepen our roots and establish a home for the gospel in Los Angeles and lay the foundation for serving our city for another hundred years!
