Serve LA New (Temporary) Location

Building renovations begin soon, and during construction Serve LA will temporarily relocate their meal ministry to:

First Southern Baptist Church of Hollywood (FSBCH)
1528 N Wilton Pl, Hollywood, CA 90028

Although their location is changing for a season, their mission remains the same: following Jesus by serving our neighbors with dignity, hospitality, and hope.

Key Dates

• Friday, August 14, will be the final (for now!) day serving meals at the Hope Center before the move.

• August 17–28, Serve LA will pause meal service as their team relocates equipment, prepares, and sets up operations in their temporary location.

• Monday, August 31, meals will resume at FSBCH and continue throughout renovations.

Mealtimes

Their meal schedule will remain the same:

• Breakfast: Monday-Friday, 10-11AM

• Dinner: Monday-Friday, 5-6PM

Shower Ministry

Their mobile shower ministry will be temporarily paused during this season. Logistically, they are unable to continue shower services while operating from the temporary location. This ministry has been an important part of caring for the community, and they look forward to resuming it once they return to the newly renovated buildings.

Looking Ahead

While transitions always come with challenges, we’re incredibly grateful that ministry does not stop. We’re thankful for First Southern Baptist Church of Hollywood’s partnership, whose generosity allows Serve LA to continue providing meals and caring for their guests while our buildings are renovated.

We believe this season is ultimately preparing us for what comes next. When renovations are complete, Serve LA will return to an expanded space featuring a new commercial kitchen and larger dining room, allowing them to welcome and serve even more of our neighbors for years to come.

We are excited to continue walking alongside the Serve LA guests during this transition and look forward to all that God has in store.

• Serve LA staff and volunteers, as they learn a new space and continue serving with excellence.
